This New Year's Challenge sounds like a fun way to kick off the new year!
Top Ten Book Blogger Pet Peeves
- People writing my blog name wrong - It's "Bookfever" and NOT "Book Fever", people. Yes, a mistake can be made but, sorry, when 8/10 people do this I'm starting to get annoyed.
- Getting random review requests when it says on my blog that I'm not open for new ones - I just wish some people would at least check with my review policy.
- CAPTCHA - It's super annoying, especially now that we have to type a gazillion numbers.
- Authors or bloggers acting negatively towards reviews, posts, etc... - Just don't.
- Too many giveaway requirments - I mostly end up not entering when this is the case.
Okay, I couldn't figure out 10 so I settled on 5...
How about you?
What are your blogger pet peeves?
Let me know!
Ahh yes Book Fever xD
ReplyDeleteSo..The Book Fever is wrong? XD I've had people tell me my blog name is wrong because I heard the lyrics wrong. First my blog name isn't from the Panic at the Disco song so no it shouldn't be "Poise and Rationality". Second, how dare someone tell me I am doing something wrong?
ReplyDeleteSome people break mine down into two words. FU Onlyknew when it's fuonlyknew. I try not to worry about it. It is an odd title but fun! The captcha is getting a bit crazy for sure. And about the rafflecopter requirements. I try not to host when they are so many but sometimes don't know until the last minute. I also don't like giveaways that require you to follow or like on facebook or you can't enter the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteYes, simple giveaways are always better then needlessly complicated ones. :)
ReplyDeleteAww the misspelled name isn't too bad. I had an email from a publisher directed at a site called "Crunchings and Munchings" (doesn't exist, I checked) when my site is called "Digesting The Words". I didn't bother replying because it annoyed me so much.
ReplyDeleteI get the second one a lot too. I used to have people contact me through my general contact email address instead of my review request one as if I'd accept them that way instead. That was definitely annoying too!
