Teaser Tuesdays: Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB @ Should Be Reading.

My teaser:
Aiden shifted slightly and his thumb caressed the curve of my cheek.
"I'm afraid of something."
"What?" I whispered.
He drew in a deep, shuddering breath. "I'm afraid of never being allowed to feel what I do."

~Deity (Covenant #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Paperback, 330 pages
Published November 6th 2012 by Spencer Hill Press
"History is on repeat, and things didn't go so well the last time. "

Alexandria isn't sure she's going to make it to her eighteenth birthday--to her Awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her, and if the Council ever discovers what she did in the Catskills, she's a goner... and so is Aiden.

If that's not freaky enough, whenever Alex and Seth spend time "training"--which really is just Seth's code word for some up-close and personal one-on-one time--she ends up with another mark of the Apollyon, which brings her one step closer to Awakening ahead of schedule. Awesome.

But as her birthday draws near, her entire world shatters with a startling revelation and she's caught between love and Fate. One will do anything to protect her. One has been lying to her since the beginning. Once the gods have revealed themselves, unleashing their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed... and destroyed.

Those left standing will discover if love is truly greater than Fate...

Anyone can participate in Teaser Tuesdays. Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!

• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Random Acts of Kindness: March Wrap-up

Random Acts of Kindness is hosted by Book Soulmates
R.A.K. is not about receiving FREE books! It's about giving as well as receiving. It's about passing on the joy of reading and books with others.

Hi everyone!
Another month has passed and it's already April, although if you look at the weather here you can't really see it. Just yesterday some snow flakes still fell. Hope it gets better soon!
Here's my RAK March Wrap-up...

I received an great book from Mariska @ Me and My Books
She gave me Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid #1) by Richelle Mead

Thanks again for the book, Mariska, I'm really really happy with it! :D

I also gifted a book to someone. I preodered Undone (The Amoveo Legend #4) by Sara Humphreys for Miki @ Lecture toute une Aventure

I hope she'll love it once she receives it! :D

And that's all for March.
Hope everyone got great books too!

Know Me Better #8

Know Me Better is a weekly meme hosted by Kathy @ I Am A Reader, Not A Writer. Each week she will pick 5 questions off of her author interview lists to answer. She invites us to share our answers to these questions as well.

~This week's questions:
What story does your family always tell about you?

What kind of music do you like?

Would you rather have money or fame?

Do you celebrate Easter? If so what is one of your traditions?

Best April Fools Day Joke you have done or someone has done to you?

~What story does your family always tell about you?
When I was in kindergarten my parents were talking about the eucalyptus tree but they couldn't remember the name and I suddenly said the name because I've heard about it in school. I was like 4 or 5.

~What kind of music do you like?
I love pop, rock, indie rock, alternative rock, punk, metal and musical.

~Would you rather have money or fame?
Not even a hard question for me. Money!

~Do you celebrate Easter? If so what is one of your traditions?
I celebrate it a little. I mostly go to my mom's house with Easter to watch my little brother look for easter eggs. This year, however I couldn't because I arrived later on the day but I bought him a present and some eggs anyway.

~Best April Fools Day Joke you have done or someone has done to you?
I don't really do April Fools Day Jokes but last year my friend Em (she's a huge trollster!) said she was leaving Goodreads for good as April Fools Day Joke. We all fell for it. So this year I decided I'm not going to trust anything she says!

Now it's your turn!
