Wrap-Up
Wrap-Up
I haven't done a monthly wrap-up since March... yikes! I guess I forgot most months and kinda lost track of it. But August seemed like a good month to start doing these wrap ups again. Hopefully I can keep it up in the next months also.
I liked all the books I read this month so no complaints there. Most of these books I read on my vacation. And I actually have two favorites this month. A Song of War: A Novel of Troy, an anthology written by several historical fiction authors and Eagles in the Storm by Ben Kane, about Arminius and the Roman army. Both excellent reads!

A Song of War: A Novel of Troy ► 5 stars
The Tower and the Emerald by Moyra Aldecott ► 4 stars
Eagles in the Storm by Ben Kane ► 5 stars
Question:
Have you read any of these books? What was your favorite book of August?
I can't believe it is monthly wrap-up time already. O_O It looks like you had a really good month in reading! I may skip the Eloisa James book since you're not the only one I've seen give it a meh rating. I hope you have a great September!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day, Stephanie. =)

Wilde in Love was fine but nothing spectacular about it either.
DeleteWOW!! You read TWELVE books in ONE month?! You're a SUPER READER!! I might be able to get in three in one month, at the most.... Lol.
ReplyDeleteI remember some of these books from another post you did, and have added some of them to my Goodreads shelves: "The Artist's Muse", "The Tower and the Emerald", "Portrait of a Conspiracy", and "The Amethyst Bride". I might add more!
Thanks for sharing! And you've motivated me to consider doing a monthly wrap-up, too!! Have a GREAT day!! HUGS!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)
You should definitely do a monthly wrap-up! I hope I can keep it up until the end of the year at least. :D
DeleteYay! You're doing better than me, I can't remember the last time I did a wrap up lol Really need to get back into it.
ReplyDeleteWell, I didn't do one since March so kinda had to push myself to do one again. It's a lot of work sometimes. But you can do it too!
DeleteThis is amazing! I have been on holiday and sorting out my GCSE results and college so haven't really read that much. Hopefully once I get settled I can read a bit more!

You had a great reading month and luckily, they were all decent reads for you! Happy September!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a good month when there are no 2 or 1 star reads!
DeleteYou always read so many books! I am glad you enjoyed so many of them :D
