Monthly Wrap-Up ► February 2017

  February 2017
Wrap-Up

I sightly belated wrap-up for February.
I felt like February was a slow reading month with getting sick but I did re-read my favorite book, Artemis Fowl, and it was glorious! I also read a lot of other great books.

Here are the books I've read:

How To Think Like Sherlock by Daniel Smith  3 stars
Beauty of the Beast by Rachel L. Demeter  4 stars {My Review}
Cold Summer by Gwen Cole  4 stars {review to come}
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer  5 stars {re-read}
Caraval by Stephanie Garber  4 stars {co-review to come}
The Merchant's Pearl by Amie O'Brien  4 stars {review to come}
The Night Circus by Erin Morgernstern  5 stars

Favorite book of the month:
Experience the world’s most enchanting and timeless love story—retold with a dark and realistic twist.

The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. The black sign, painted in white letters that hangs upon the gates, reads:
Opens at Nightfall
Closes at Dawn

As the sun disappears beyond the horizon, all over the tents small lights begin to flicker, as though the entirety of the circus is covered in particularly bright fireflies. When the tents are all aglow, sparkling against the night sky, the sign appears.

Le Cirque des Rêves
The Circus of Dreams.

Now the circus is open.
Now you may enter

Have you read any of these books? What was your favorite book of February?

  2. Such a cute blog, Stephanie! I love the mint color, and owls, and everything... =) Great reading month, being sick et al. I'm glad you're feeling better. I have The Night Circus as a must read book, but my timing is a bit flexible. hehe.
