End of Year Book Survey 2017

It's time again for the annual end of year survey that Jamie @ The Perpetual Page-Turner hosts to reflect back on the books we've read throughout the year.

This year has been a pretty good bookish year. I didn't read as much books in 2017 as I did in 2016 but overall I read more that I really loved so yay! ♥

Number Of Books You Read: 122
Number of Re-Reads: 1 (Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer)
Genre You Read The Most From: Nonfiction

1. Best Book You Read In 2017?

The Woman Who Would Be King by Kara Cooney, a biography about Hatshepsut's rise to power in ancient Egypt. Super fascinating and simply phenomenal!

2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?

The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli. Don't get me wrong... I rated it three stars and I did enjoy the book but I just didn't love it. I liked the characters but the story wasn't the best in my opnion.

3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. It was surprising in a good way because when I initially bought it this summer I never expected to become so obsessed with this book and the world that the author created. I've also read Godsgrave and I didn't love it as much as Nevernight but I still thought it was pretty damn amazing.

4. Book You “Pushed” The Most People To Read (And They Did)?

This is always a tough question for me because I don't really "push" people to read certain books but I'm always recommending any book by Eoin Colfer, especially Artemis Fowl (did you hear about the movie casting?!) and Airman, which is a very beautiful story.

5. Best series you started in 2017? Best Sequel of 2017? Best Series Ender of 2017?

Best series startedLost Souls series by Avie Adams
Best sequel ► Scalding Ice and Goldfire by Avie Adams {My review}
Best series enderEagles in the Storm by Ben Kane

6. Favorite new author you discovered in 2017?

Avie Adams, author of the dark fantasy series "Lost Souls"Website

7. Best book from a genre you don’t typically read/was out of your comfort zone?

Two Boys Kissing by David Levithan. I don't read a lot of YA contemporary books anymore but I really enjoyed this one. I've always enjoyed this author's books so it wasn't a big surprise that I ended up loving Two Boys Kissing.

8. Most action-packed/thrilling/unputdownable book of the year?

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff. Again this book but damn... I was so hooked and it definitely was action-packed, thrilling and unputdownable!

9. Book You Read In 2017 That You Are Most Likely To Re-Read Next Year?

Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer. This is probably not a surprise since I re-read it every year at least once. I also plan on re-reading Airman

10. Favorite cover of a book you read in 2017?

The Indigo Girl by Natasha Boyd. I'm just in love with this cover. So very beautiful and blue! {My Review}

11. Most memorable character of 2017?

Hatshepsut from The Woman Who Would Be King. Of course she isn't a "character" since the book is a biography about a real figure in history but Hatshepsut is definitely the most memorable person I have read about this year. She seemed like such an amazing and driven woman who did something no woman ever did before in ancient Egypt—become King, and ruling for almost 22 years in total.

12. Most beautifully written book read in 2017?

The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo. Do I even have to explain this one? The stories in this book were each and every one so beautifully written. I loved them, especially the final two.

13. Most Thought-Provoking/ Life-Changing Book of 2017?

A Charm of Finches by Suanne Laqueur. This author always manages to create the most thought-provoking and tear-inducing books. Last year I answered this question with her book The Man I Love. This year it's A Charm of Finches. So. Highly. Recommended. {My Review}

14. Book you can’t believe you waited UNTIL 2017 to finally read?

Iron Man: The Gauntlet by Eoin Colfer. I should've read it in 2016 but I just didn't get around to it (why though...) but I ended up loving it (duh). {My Review}

15. Favorite Passage/Quote From A Book You Read In 2017?

"I once slapped a coffee out of a guy's hand on the subway because he was breathing into the cup before every sip. It was like sitting beside Darth Vader on his break. And I'll tell you something else: three people applauded." — Screwed by Eoin Colfer

16. Shortest & Longest Book You Read In 2017?

Shortest ► James Cook: A Life From Beginning to End by Hourly History — 34 pages
Longest ► The Book of Life by Deborah Harkness — 703 pages

17. Book That Shocked You The Most

Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff. That motherfucking ending.

18. OTP OF THE YEAR (you will go down with this ship!)

Pim and Elder from the Dollar series by Pepper Winters. The most perfect OTP!

19. Favorite Non-Romantic Relationship Of The Year

Leila and Dariya from The Merchant's Pearl by Amie O'Brien. I loved their friendship because in the situation they were in they could've easily been rivals but they weren't. Why can't we have more relationships like this? {My Review}

20. Favorite Book You Read in 2017 From An Author You’ve Read Previously

Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer. This also happens to be my new favorite book by this author. Brigid never ever disappoints!

21. Best Book You Read In 2017 That You Read Based SOLELY On A Recommendation From Somebody Else/Peer Pressure

Romancing the Duke by Tessa Dare. Alyssa from The Eater of Books recommended this title to me and I'll never stop being grateful for this because I loved the book.

22. Newest fictional crush from a book you read in 2017?

Elder Prest from the Dollar series by Pepper Winters. He even rivals my love for Q Mercer. But don't tell Q I said that. :P

23. Best 2017 debut you read?

The Artist's Muse by Kerry Postle. I wish this book was more known by my fellow readers because it was really good and unique! {My Review}

24. Best Worldbuilding/Most Vivid Setting You Read This Year?

A Pocketful of Crows by Joanne M. Harris. This book was just so magical and tragic. I absolutely adored the vivid setting. It was really something special.

25. Book That Put A Smile On Your Face/Was The Most FUN To Read?

Doctor Who: Myths and Legends by Richard Dinnick. Because... Doctor Who! {My review}

26. Book That Made You Cry Or Nearly Cry in 2017?

The Alice Network by Kate Quinn. For the longest time this was my favorite book of the year until I read The Woman Who Would Be King. Sorry, Kate! But I still can't recommend this title enough. It is absolutely amazing and yes, it made me cry.

27. Hidden Gem Of The Year?

The Merchant's Pearl by Amie O'Brien. I know I already mentioned this book before but it's definitely a hidden gem. Everyone should read it! {My Review}

28. Book That Crushed Your Soul?

Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare. As usual with Cassie Clare books it basically destroyed me. Especially with the ending... :(

29. Most Unique Book You Read In 2017?

Scalding Ice and Goldfire by Avie Adams. This book (and series) is definitely the most unique (in the best way possible!) I loved it so much!

30. Book That Made You The Most Mad (doesn’t necessarily mean you didn’t like it)?

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas. I absolutely loved this book but it also made me mad because Tamlin still acted like a douchebag. I think this is the exact same answer I gave to this question last year. Hmm... LOL

1. New favorite book blog you discovered in 2017?

I have a couple of new favorite book blogs:
Flylef - Romi Reads - Darkest Sins

2. Favorite review that you wrote in 2017?

I always enjoy the co-reviews I do with Christina from Booklover's Tea Party. This year we did four co-reviews:
3. Best discussion/non-review post you had on your blog?

My Favorite Eras in History and Books Set in Them ♥

4. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?

I only went to boekenfestijn and boekenbeurs, both are book fairs here in Belgium.

5. Best moment of bookish/blogging life in 2017?

The moment when Eoin Colfer (my favorite author ever) commented on a picture I posted on Instagram, saying that Airman was his favorite, too. Huge freak out, guys... :D ♥

6. Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?

Since October I have been struggling with some medical issues that still aren't fixed so I haven't been able to blog regularly because of it. It has been and still is a challenge.

7. Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog (whether it be by comments or views)?

10 Books I Plan On Reading While I'm On Vacation. This post did pretty well and yes I read all 10 books. ;)

8. Post You Wished Got A Little More Love?

Gosh... any post really. It really doesn't matter which one.

9. Best bookish discover (book related sites, book stores, etc.)?

Fairyloot! I already got my first box last year in December so technically I didn't discover it in 2017 but I've gotten a lot more Fairyloot boxes this year so I'm guessing it can still count.

10.  Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year?

2017 Goodreads Reading Challenge

1. One Book You Didn’t Get To In 2017 But Will Be Your Number 1 Priority in 2018?

Feversong by Karen Marie Moning. I know, it's a damn shame I haven't been able to get around reading this book since it's one of my all time favorite series but I've been just too worried about everything that could happen in this book to read it. LOL

2. Book You Are Most Anticipating For 2018 (non-debut)?

My Dear Hamilton by Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie. I hope it's as amazing as America's First Daughter. But I'm pretty sure it will be.

3. 2018 Debut You Are Most Anticipating?

Sweet Black Waves by Kristina Perez. I'm not a 100% sure it's her debut novel but I'm really looking forward to it because it's inspired by the story of Tristan and Isolde.

4. Series Ending/A Sequel You Are Most Anticipating in 2018?

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare. The last book in The Dark Artifices trilogy. I just hope the author won't hurt us even more with this book like she did in the previous one. Have some compassion, Cassie!

5. One Thing You Hope To Accomplish Or Do In Your Reading/Blogging Life In 2018?

I hope to re-read the whole Artemis Fowl series, all 8 books and give them proper reviews.

6. A 2018 Release You’ve Already Read & Recommend To Everyone (if applicable):

Furyborn by Claire Legrand. This book was in November's Fairyloot box as a physical ARC and it was just beyond amazing. Strong female characters + amazing writing + scary angels + assassins = yassssss! ♥

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?

Blood Passage by Heather Demetrios. I was so excited when I got my hands on this book because the first book ended up being a favorite of mine but I ended up being really disappointed by it.

3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. This book surprised me in a very good way because I ended up loving it so much. It's one of my favorite classics now.

I wouldn't say I push people to read books but I guess I've recommend A Court of Mist and Fury to people and I know at least one person did.

 5. Best series you started in 2016? Best Sequel of 2016? Best Series Ender of 2016?

Best series started ► Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo (Duology in this case)

6. Favorite new author you discovered in 2016?

I discovered quite a few new favorite authors in 2016 but my top favorite has got to be Tracy Ann MillerI'm so glad I got the chance to read her books and she's such a nice person, too!

7. Best book from a genre you don’t typically read/was out of your comfort zone?

The Man I Love by Suanne Laqueur. This isn't the type of contemporary romance I usually read (but it is now lol). It ended up blowing my mind, it was amazing and emotional and just everything!

8. Most action-packed/thrilling/unputdownable book of the year?

Beautiful Minds All in a Row by Jennifer Harlow. This book was all of these things; action-packed, thrilling and unputdownable. I loved it!

9. Book You Read In 2016 That You Are Most Likely To Re-Read Next Year?

I don't actually re-read a lot of books. I haven't even re-read a book this year at all. So I'm not sure I will. At least not one I read in 2016.

10. Favorite cover of a book you read in 2016?

(I haven't exactly read this book yet because my order was delayed but it's been my favorite cover all year long.)

11. Most memorable character of 2016?

Kaz from Six of Crows maybe because he sure took me by surprise by how much I ended up loving him (and the book).

12. Most beautifully written book read in 2016?

Again going with An Exaltation of Larks by Suanne Laqueur. It was so beautifully written!

13. Most Thought-Provoking/ Life-Changing Book of 2016?

I feel like I'm going with this author's books a lot but... The Man I Love by Suanne Laqueur. It was both thought-provoking and life-changing.

14. Book you can’t believe you waited UNTIL 2016 to finally read?

Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo. I read this pretty recently and yeah, no idea why I waited until now to read it.

15. Favorite Passage/Quote From A Book You Read In 2016?

One of my favorite hilarious quotes from Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare:

“He bumped into a pay phone and said, 'Excuse me, miss,' on our way in," said Julian.
"It's polite to apologize," said Mark with the same small voice.
"Not to inanimate objects.”

16.Shortest & Longest Book You Read In 2016?

Shortest ► The Crown & the Arrow by Renee Ahdieh ~ 9 pages
Longest ► Voyager by Diana Gabaldon ~ 1059 pages

Probably the end of Feverborn by Karen Marie Moning. I still can't stop thinking about it and I'm so worried for the next and final book.

18. OTP OF THE YEAR (you will go down with this ship!)

Mark and Kieran from Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. I just love them so so so much. I'm just doubtful they'll actually end up together. I hope Cassandra will be nice to them.

19. Favorite Non-Romantic Relationship Of The Year

All the Blackthorn siblings from Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. I just love this family so much. After just one book they already took a special place in my heart.

20. Favorite Book You Read in 2016 From An Author You’ve Read Previously

So. Many. Books. The first one coming to mind, though, is And I Darken by Kiersten White. It's in my opinion the author's best book yet.

21. Best Book You Read In 2016 That You Read Based SOLELY On A Recommendation From Somebody Else/Peer Pressure:

Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness. Recommended by Christina from Booklover's Teaparty. I loved this book so so much!

23. Best 2016 debut you read?

Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton is the first one coming to mind.

24. Best Worldbuilding/Most Vivid Setting You Read This Year?

Roma Amor by Sherry Christie. I loved the worldbuilding and vivid setting of ancient Rome so much. Highly recommended!

25. Book That Put A Smile On Your Face/Was The Most FUN To Read?

Without a doubt it was Puck by Kim Askew and Amy Helmes!

26. Book That Made You Cry Or Nearly Cry in 2016?

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover made me cry at the end, like only CoHo can. And The Man I Love by Suanne Laqueur. Sorry, I just gotta mention it again!

27. Hidden Gem Of The Year?

The Maiden Seer by Tracy Ann Miller, as well as Loveweaver. These books were really amazing!

28. Book That Crushed Your Soul?

I don't think I read a book in 2016 that REALLY crushed my soul. Maybe my soul is so black already by previous books that it can't be crushed anymore? LOL

29. Most Unique Book You Read In 2016?

Soundless by Richelle Mead. I know a lot of people didn't care much for this book but I did like it a lot and I thought it was really unique.

30. Book That Made You The Most Mad (doesn’t necessarily mean you didn’t like it)?

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. I loved the book (RHYS!) but it made me mad because Tamlin was such a douchebag in it.

1. New favorite book blog you discovered in 2016?

I discovered so many great blogs but Olivia's Catastrophe jumps out! I initially met Olivia last year on Instagram where we bonded over Doctor Who and that's how I discovered her blog. She's awesome so you should all follow her!

2. Favorite review that you wrote in 2016?

This is a hard question. I have so many favorite reviews that I wrote in 2016. But maybe my review of A Year of Ravens because I always enjoy writing reviews for each part of these books.

3. Best discussion/non-review post you had on your blog?

My Valentine's Day post where I talked about my favorite romance books.

4. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?

That time when Cassandra Clare replied on Twitter to the co-review me and Christina from Booklover's Teaparty did on Lady Midnight

6. Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?

I went through quite a few minor reading slumps so that was pretty challenging. I still read a lot of books but I read about 40 less books than in 2015. This kind of surprised me.

7. Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog (whether it be by comments or views)?

My review of Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, I think.

8. Post You Wished Got A Little More Love?

More love for any post in general would be awesome. I can't really say just one in particular.

9. Best bookish discover (book related sites, book stores, etc.)?

FairyLoot! I've wanted to order a box from them since they started and this month I finally got the December box, which was amazeballs!

10.  Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year?

Caraval by Stephanie Garber because I heard nothing but amazing things about this book.

4. Series Ending/A Sequel You Are Most Anticipating in 2017?

Feversong by Karen Marie Moning, which releases January 17th. A part of me is in denial that the Fever series is ending. This has been my favorite series for years so I'm not sure how I'm going to get through this.

5. One Thing You Hope To Accomplish Or Do In Your Reading/Blogging Life In 2017?

One of my resolutions of the new year is reading more books that have been sitting on my shelf. Wish me luck!

6. A 2017 Release You’ve Already Read & Recommend To Everyone:

RoseBlood by A.G. Howard. This author doing a Phantom retelling is the best thing ever!

Happy New Year everyone and see you in 2017!

2015 End of Year Book Survey! ♥

2015-end-of-year-book-survey-1024x984
It's time for the end of year book survey again! I can't believe how fast this year went. It just felt like a few months ago when I filled in the one of last year. But here we go again!
This survey is hosted by the lovely Jamie @ The Perpetual Page-Turner

reading-stats-2015-1024x278
Number Of Books You Read: 179
Number of Re-Reads: I didn't keep track of those but I think I re-read three books - Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, Airman by Eoin Colfer and Faefever by Karen Marie Moning
Genre You Read The Most From: Adult, mostly contemporary.

best-YA-books-2014

1. Best Book You Read In 2015?

America's First Daughter by Stephanie Dray & Laura Kamoie

There were many books I read that I loved but I gotta say that this book was way above all the rest. It doesn't come out until March but it really is such an excellent read. The best historical fiction I've read so far!

2. Book You Were Excited About & Thought You Were Going To Love More But Didn’t?

Sinner's Steel by Sarah Castille

Don't get me wrong, I liked this book. I just didn't love it as much as I loved the two previous books in the series. Zane was always my favorite guy but his story just wasn't as great as I had hoped it would be.

3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?

Witch Upon a Star by Jennifer Harlow

This book was surprising because I hadn't expected to love it as much, although Harlow is one of my favorite authors. I actually think it's her best work so far.

4. Book You “Pushed” The Most People To Read (And They Did)?

This honestly is such a hard question. I wouldn't say I "push" people to read books. I always recommend books by Eoin Colfer but I don't think people actually follow that particular recommendation. FOOLS!

5. Best series you started in 2015? Best Sequel of 2015? Best Series Ender of 2015?

Best series you started: Stripped series by Skye Warren
I absolutely love this series! I've been pretty obsessed with it and read all the books so far. Skye's definitely my new favorite dark romance author.

Best sequel : Bound by Flames by Jeaniene Frost
After the disaster that was book #2, I was so glad and relieved that this one was amazing again. I can't wait for the next one!

Best series ender: Winter by Marissa Meyer
What else? No other series ender has even comes close to the epicness of Winter!

6. Favorite new author you discovered in 2015?

I've only read two books of her so far but I loved them both and thought they were so amazing and unique. She's also super nice so I can't wait to read more by her in the future.

7. Best book from a genre you don’t typically read/was out of your comfort zone?

The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith
The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith

I barely read mystery books but these... oh they're so amazing. And not just because they're written by Rowling. I genuinely enjoyed them and to be honest, as much as I love the Harry Potter books (and I really do!) I actually liked The Cuckoo's Calling and The Silkworm more. I know they can't be compared but it's just how I feel.

8. Most action-packed/thrilling/unputdownable book of the year?

The Drafter by Kim Harrison

This definitely has to be The Drafter. It pretty much blew my mind. There was a lot of action and also kind of fucked with my head. Gotta love those books.I can't wait to read the next one!

9. Book You Read In 2015 That You Are Most Likely To Re-Read Next Year?

Uprooted by Naomi Novik

I really don't re-read a lot of books because there are so many other unread books that I still need to get to but if I would re-read a book (that isn't a Eoin Colfer or Karen Marie Moning book) it would be Uprooted. Why? Because it reminded me of Howl's Moving Castle and I loved it so much. Such a fantastic book!

10. Favorite cover of a book you read in 2015?

Until We Meet Again by Renee Collins

Not only is it one of my top favorites of 2015, the cover is also beyond gorgeous! I've only read the e-arc of it but sometime I need to get my hands on the paperback or hardcover.

11. Most memorable character of 2015?

Martha “Patsy” Jefferson Randolph was by far the most memorable character. She doesn't even come close to any other character I've read about.

12. Most beautifully written book read in 2015?

Deep Blue Eternity by Natasha Boyd

Another top favorite of mine. And it definitely deserves all the praise it gets.

13. Most Thought-Provoking/ Life-Changing Book of 2015?

The Shock of the Fall by Nathan Filer

This was a random find at my library and I can't say I completely loved this book but it sure as hell was thought-provoking. It was also a book that was far out of my comfort zone, dealing with mental health.

14. Book you can’t believe you waited UNTIL 2015 to finally read?

One Week Girlfriend by Monica Murphy

I actually read this book pretty recently and I don't know what it did to me but wow! I could barely stop reading in it and I loved all the unexpected twists the story took. I've had it since 2013 I think and it's even a signed copy. Why didn't I read it sooner?!

15. Favorite Passage/Quote From A Book You Read In 2015?

Ursula K. Le Guin is THE qeen of fantasy!

16.Shortest & Longest Book You Read In 2015?

Shortest: The Morning After by Eva Chase - 11 pages
Longest: Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon - 947 pages

 17. Book That Shocked You The Most

This book was full of mind fucks and I really hadn't expected it to end like that!

18. OTP OF THE YEAR (you will go down with this ship!)

The Wrath and The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Shazi & Khalid

They are EVERYTHING!

19. Favorite Non-Romantic Relationship Of The Year

Winter by Marissa Meyer
Scarlet & Winter

I adored Scarlet and Winter's friendship!

20. Favorite Book You Read in 2015 From An Author You’ve Read Previously

Thicker Than Water by Brigid Kemmerer

I love all her books!

21. Best Book You Read In 2015That You Read Based SOLELY On A Recommendation From Somebody Else/Peer Pressure

Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Beck Albertalli

I've seen quite a few people rave about this book, especially Bieke from Istyria Book Blog, so when I saw it on vacation last summer I bought it right away and I loved it!

22. Newest fictional crush from a book you read in 2015?

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

JAMIE FRASER!

23. Best 2015 debut you read?

Simon again... But it was just so good! Really amazing for a debut novel!

24. Best Worldbuilding/Most Vivid Setting You Read This Year?

Uprooted by Naomi Novik

The world-building and vivid setting makes this another winner!

25. Book That Put A Smile On Your Face/Was The Most FUN To Read?

Thor Speaks! by Vicky Alvear Shecter

These books are just so much fun and Thor is awesome to read about.

26. Book That Made You Cry Or Nearly Cry in 2015?

Forever With You by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Some parts in this book were so freaking sad, I couldn't help but cry with it. But it was my favorite book in the series so far!

27. Hidden Gem Of The Year?

Dark Horse by Michelle Diener

This was SO good. As are all books by Michelle Diener. I wish more people knew about it!

28. Book That Crushed Your Soul?

The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead

Only because it was the last book and I still can't deal with that!

29. Most Unique Book You Read In 2015?

Sepherene: The Complete Chronicles by Daniel Beazley

This definitely was the most unique because it has angels in it and I actually liked it (shocking, I know!). Also because it was fantasy and there was some hidden greek mythology in it also that I caught.

30. Book That Made You The Most Mad (doesn’t necessarily mean you didn’t like it)?

Queen of Tomorrow by Sherry D. Ficklin

This wasn't a bad book or anything. It was just that the choices the main character made drove me INSANE!

book-blogging

1. New favorite book blog you discovered in 2015?

A World Between Folded Pages - Yvonne's such an awesome person who I've gotten to know a little bit more this year. Her blog is amazing so everyone should definitely go check it out!

2. Favorite review that you wrote in 2015?

Ah that's a hard question. I'm thinking maybe Love Hurts because I love writing reviews for anthologies!

3. Best discussion/non-review post you had on your blog?

Definitely the Try a New Genre Challenge. The title says it all it was a challenge to try a new genre and there were awesome prices to be won. I won the price of $50 for particpating the most in the group on Facebook. Basically I talked my ass off. lol

4. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?

I didn't go to many events. I did go to the boekenbeurs but didn't meet any new authors this year. I had a chance to meet Julie Kagawa but I had to go to my brother's birthday party that day. Too bad, but there's always next year.

Probably this moment! ♥

Probably my 4th blogoversary post. I can't believe I've been blogging for four years already!

8. Post You Wished Got A Little More Love?

Any post, I guess. I can't really just name one, they all deserve love!

Society6! Especially Evie Seo's designs. They are gorgeous. I swear next year I will buy something!

10.  Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year?

I completed the 2015 Goodreads Reading Challenge! Other than that I don't really do any challenges because I can never stick with them for a while year.
