February 2018
Wrap-Up
Wrap-Up
Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good February. I didn't have the greatest reading month. I read a few really good books but I also had two 1 star books and I couldn't even finish two books as well, like Glass Sword. I officially gave up on that series. As always I really enjoyed my re-read of the next Artemis Fowl book. This time it was the second book, The Arctic Incident. I also finally managed to finish off all the books by Pepper Winters I still had to read. Final Debt was my favorite and the second (and last) 5 star read of February. I read four books by her in total in Feburary and now she is my most read female author with the same amount of books read as Eoin Colfer. I can't even believe it myself. And other than that I also really enjoyed the short in60Learning books that I received for review. Feel free to check out those reviews. ♥

Favorite book of the month:
Final Debt by Pepper Winters
Dark Romance
The Last Book in the New York TImes Bestselling Dark Romance Series. Where love tries to triumph and darkness continues to reign....
“I’m in love with her, but it might not be enough to stop her from becoming the latest victim of the Debt Inheritance. I know who I am now. I know what I must do. We will be together—I just hope it’s on Earth rather than in heaven.”
It all comes down to this.
Love versus life.
Debts versus death.
Who will win?
Have you read any of these books or what was your favorite book of February?
I'm sorry you had kind of a mixed bag this month with reading! I've given up on the Red Queen series, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I'm not the only one. I hope I make better book decision this month.
DeleteSad to see Glass Sword was so bad for you. It's one I have to read still and am now not so keen...
ReplyDeleteHappy March!
I hope you'll like it better but I just came to a point where I didn't want to waste more time on it. I think it's better spend with books I actually enjoy.
DeleteSorry about the up and down reading month. It happens sometimes though. I hope next month is full of some amazing reads for you.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! You read a total of FOURTEEN books in February?! True, some of them were those short in60Learning books, but STILL. There's NO way I could read that many books in one month!! LOL.
ReplyDeleteRight now, I'm kinda stuck. That's because I'm reading two books -- in Spanish, too -- that I'm not enjoying all that much. Plus, they're books that I KNOW my YA readers will not be interested in.... :( So I guess I would have to review them on my other blog, the one where I review, and post about, literary fiction and non-YA nonfiction..... I'm struggling to get through these books, too. It's just that I don't agree with a lot of what these two authors are saying.....
So this means that my YA reading is stalled right now. :( But then, I also want to read that anti-Trump book, "Fire and Fury". SO MANY GREAT BOOKS TO READ!!! ARRRGGHHH!!! LOL.
I really like the look of "Final Debt". I think I'll add it to my Goodreads shelves!
Thanks for sharing all of these books with us, Steph!! And thanks as well for all of your comments on my blog!! HUGS!!! <3 <3 <3 :) :) :)
It sounds like you really had a mixed reading pick! It's great that there were lots of high ratings, but two 1 star readings in a month and giving up on a series is never fun :/ I'm sorry you couldn't enjoy those at all! Hopefully March will be full of even more great books for you.
