There`s so much to choose from! I think I`d pick `The Cat`s Table`by Michael Ondaatje. He`s one of my favourite authors---I own almost everything he`s ever written and this book was shortlisted for the Giller Prize in 2011. It`s a great book, but I don`t have it yet as part of my collection.
