Monthly Wrap-Up — March 2018

Hello and Happy Easter!
It's kind of hard to believe it's already April (and Easter.) I feel like it was just the start of the new year, I blinked, and now we're already in the fourth month. Anyway, in March I didn't read as many books as I usually do but I do think I read a few really great books. My only disappointement was Drums of Autumn. I was so glad when I finished that long ass book. Don't get me wrong, I still love Jamie Fraser so much but that book was such a mess and the characters (aside from Jamie) irritated me to no end. As always my Artemis Fowl reread (I'm alread at book three) was a highlight and Bygone Badass Broads ended up as my favorite book of the month.

 Favorite book of the month:

Bygone Badass Broads: 52 Forgotten Women Who Changed the World by Mackenzi Lee
Nonfiction/History

Based on Mackenzi Lee’s popular weekly Twitter series of the same name, features 52 remarkable and forgotten trailblazing women from all over the world. With tales of heroism and cunning, in-depth bios and witty storytelling, Bygone Badass Broads gives new life to these historic female pioneers. Starting in the fifth century BC and continuing to the present, the book takes a closer look at bold and inspiring women who dared to step outside the traditional gender roles of their time. Coupled with riveting illustrations and Lee’s humorous and conversational storytelling style, this book is an outright celebration of the badass women who paved the way for the rest of us.

Have you read any of these books or what was your favorite book of February?
