Waiting On Wednesday: Artemis Fowl The Eternity Code Graphic Novel

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking The Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

My WOW pick of this week:

~Artemis Fowl The Eternity Code Graphic Novel (Artemis Fowl: The Graphic Novel #3) by
Paperback, 112 pages
Expected publication: July 9th 2013 by Disney-Hyperion

Artemis Fowl is going straight...as soon as he pulls off the most brilliant criminal feat of his career. But his last job plan goes awry, leaving his loyal bodyguard, Butler, mortally injured. Artemis's only hope of saving his friend is to enlist the help of his old rival, Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon fairy police. It is going to take a miracle to save Butler, and Artemis's luck may have just run out. . .

I can't wait for this graphic novel. I'm a HUGE Eoin Colfer and Artemis Fowl fan so I just have got to read this. With these graphic novels all AF fans will at least not feel as if it's all over just yet. I'm so glad for that. I know just like always it'll be amazing.

  6. I really enjoy Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl series. IMO, he has successfully create one of the best modern fairy-tales/fantasy stories by expertly mixing the traditional elements (magic, elfs, trolls, leprechauns, centaurs) and super high-tech modern technologies.

For the graphic novel editions, I have only read the first two (Artemis Fowl and Arctic Incident) and liked them a lot. Now, I am really interested in the third graphic novel. The problem is, no publisher in my country has the "guts" to publish such graphic novels (here manga rules) and I'm still not sure about how reliable the shipping service is for my country. ...sigh
