An enigmatic gentleman with an intriguing job offer too tempting to resist changes her plans for a calm existence, though. Soon, she’s whisked to New York and initiated into the Collectors’ Society, a secret organization whose members confirm that famous stories are anything but straightforward and that what she knows about the world is only a fraction of the truth.

It’s there she discovers villains are afoot—ones who want to shelve the lives of countless beings. Assigned to work with the mysterious and alluring Finn, Alice and the rest of the Collectors’ Society race against a doomsday clock in order to prevent further destruction . . . but will they make it before all their endings are erased?

* This is the first book in the adult romance/fairy tale Collectors' Society series.

"Are you ready for your next adventure, Ms. Reeve? Are you ready to once more slip through a looking glass?"

The Collectors' Society was a great book. It obviously really spoke to me as a reader. It wasn't all perfect but I'll definitely be reading the next books. I can't wait!

I loved reading about Alice and not just because I'm totally obsessed with Wonderland. I liked her personality a lot and she could kick some serious ass. That's what I'm looking for in a main character.

There were so many awesome things in this book, it's kind of hard to explain them all but the major part would be the characters from classic books. This part of the story really drew me in and I just couldn't stop reading. I thought this was a really unique spin on classic fiction.

I just wasn't a fan of the romance. It wasn't that I hated Finn, Alice's romantic interest. I liked him well enough but at some point it felt that the romance overtook the story a little bit. When Alice's ex was introduced I liked it a little more but I still didn't care for the romance aspect much. I just wanted to read about the action and mystery.

But really don't let my dislike of the romance scare you off, because I think this really is a book every bookworm should read. The Collectors' Society is simply a reader's dream!
