This week's question:

If you had a time machine (i.e. a TARDIS), where would you go?

Oh, the possibilities! 

I'd definitely go to the past because it's always been more interesting for me. Where would I go? Easy... Ancient Egypt of course! I'm not sure which period exactly in ancient Egyptian history, though. They're all so intriguing!
After that I'd tackle ancient Rome and Greece. =)

This week's question:

What are your non-book guilty pleasures? Like TV shows, food, websites, hobbies, etc

Here's my top five!

Tv shows - I loooove tv shows. Here are some of my favorites: Arrow, Reign, Da Vinci's Demons, Revenge, Game of Thrones, Once Upon a Time and so on and on. 

Studio Ghibli - I've been addicted to Studio Ghibli films lately. Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle (the book is fantastic too!) and Tales from Earthsea are my favorites.

Musicals - I'm a huge musical fan. I've always loved them and go see as much musicals on stage as I can. Three years ago I saw Mamma Mia. Last year I saw Cats and West Side Story. They were all amazing. In August I'll be seeing Evita. I'm very excited! I also love Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera and The Sound of Music!

Owls - I am obsessed with owls. Since about a year, I guess, I've started collecting them and I've got quite the collection already. I can't leave a store without seeing something owlish and buying it. It's an addiction, really. 

Here's my latest owl purchase:

Ancient Egypt - I've been fascinated in Ancient Egypt ever since I was young. I've always been interested in it and loved watching documentaries and movies about anything that has to do with this era in history. <3

This week's question:

How important is good writing to you? In an ideal world, a book would be beautifully written AND have great character development, plot, etc. But in the real world, which do you prefer: (1) Great characters and plot with lousy writing or (2) Middling character development and plot but gorgeous writing

I thought this question would be pretty tough for me to answer but it actually really isn't. Of course I want great characters and plot AND great writing but if I had to choose between these two I'd pick: middling character development and plot but gorgeous writing.
I'm a huge fan of beautiful writing. If a book is written in a way that's like that I'd love it for sure even if the characters and plot would be mediocre. I just can't stand a book that isn't written well.

Yes. Yes, I did! 

I convinced Christina from Booksane to read the Kylie Ryans trilogy by Caisey Quinn! And she ended up loving it. Yay!

Spring Break. Where would be your favorite destination spot if you could join the Spring Break festivities?

I'd probably go to the coast here in Belgium and although it might not be real warm beach weather just yet, I'd still enjoy going to check out all the cute stores and maybe go to a restaurant or two. Oh and hunt for books of course.

Tell us about a book that you didn’t like and why we shouldn’t read it…nicely.

Ah... so many books I could pick for this question. But the first one coming to mind is this one:

The Elite (The Selection #2) by Kiera Cass

I actually loved the first book, The Selection, and then I started the second book and it was a disaster in my opinion. Nothing happened. Literally. At the end, America (main character) was in exactly the same position as she was before. Also there is not a single character that I actually like anymore. Not America or Aspen or Maxon. Nope.
So I would definitely not recommend this book. But I do plan on reading the last one, because I want to know how it's going to end.
